Tornados in Colorado?

Yes!  And today there was one within 3 or 4 miles of the house.  We were actually up in Arvada heading home from Dale and Tom’s house when Ryan called to let us know he was heading into the basement due to a tornado warning.

The storm also brought with it some nasty winds and hail, but what’s amazing is that Tom’s sister Rachel grabbed this video at her house which is less than two miles from where we live.

I’ve never seen a torando up close…and I don’t think I want to.  Thanks Rachel for grabbing this video and thanks for posting it on your blog Tom!
